Summer Sunday Evening Concerts On the Lawn Summer Lost Aug 12, 2012 5:00pm - 7:00pm Summer Lost is versatile, fusing elements of swing, blues, rock, funk, hip-hop, and of course, jazz to put a unique twist on classic and modern songs. In a live show, they are capable of moving seamlessly from modern rock tracks, to Motown hits, and even hip-hop-inspired performances. Visit their website! Sunday Morning Concert - Alvin Wong & Friend - Cello & VIolin Duo Aug 12, 2012 10 a.m. The Sunday Morning Classical Concert Series this year features a selection of unique performances by a mix of talented student musicians from the Yale School of Music interspersed with surprise appearances from professional musicians who regularly perform at world renown venues in New York City and worldwide. For members of the Bartlett Arboretum, entrance to the grounds and concerts is free. For non-members, a $5 per person entrance fee at the gate applies. Children under 12 are free. Concerts are scheduled to be outside in the gardens surrounding the original homestead of Dr. Francis A. Bartlett that currently serves as the Administration building for the arboretum. In case of inclement weather, concerts will be moved inside the new Silver Educational Center on the same grounds. Visit our events page on the concerts for more information.
