Homeschool Series Oct 16, 2012

Tree Identification:Take a walk around our forest and learn how to identify some of the native Connecticut trees.
The fall homeschool series will have two age groups simultaneously, 5-7 years old and 8-11 years old, learning about the same topic. Each group will be led by a Bartlett Educator and every class will have some inside classroom time along with outside time on the Bartlett grounds.
Each class is $20/members and $25/non-members

TEA & TALKS Oct 16, 2012

Join Michelina Docimo, 2006 Master Gardener, for a tea and talk on her recently released book Echoes: Listening to the Voices in Spirited Trees.
Inspired by Kathy Hirshon's exhibition of her artwork, Spirited Trees, Michelina created a book about trees, people, art, nature, life, death, joy, pain, spirituality, and sustainability.
Members $15, Non-Members $20. Talk will take place in the living room of the recently renovated Homestead.
