|Yoga in the Garden for Men

In the East where yoga originated, it is predominantly practiced by men. Surveys show that men would like to try yoga for the physical and mind health benefits, but are reluctant to go to a general class with mostly women in the group. This class provides a safe haven for men to start or continue their practice of yoga.
Join us to practice yoga in the serene setting of beautiful flowers, shrubs and majestic trees. We will be taking in the sights, scents and sounds of the outdoor world the way yoga is traditionally practiced (when weather does not permit we will practice indoors).
Janak is a long time certified practitioner of yoga and also a Master Gardener at the Bartlett and will incorporate poses that are especially beneficial for gardeners and non-gardeners alike.
