The Bartlett is offering a S.T.E.A.M. (science, technology, engineering, art, math) day camp for ages 4-11 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (with after-care available through 5 p.m.).
Lots of nature-related themes from rain forest ecology to reptiles and amphibians will be taught in an engaging, hands-on environment.

Plant Clinic Opens for the Season on May 2
Monday - Thursday, 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
The Uconn Master Gardeners host a Plant Clinic four days a week. You are welcome to bring your plant and garden related questions to the Plant Clinic located in the Library in the Silver Educational Center. Please bring your plant material or insects in tightly wrapped plastic bags or containers.

Our annual Eat Fresh/Plant Native Plant Sale is on May 14. Building on our success from last year, we are asking all in the Bartlett gardening community to help out by donating divisions from their own gardens. Because of the sale's focus, we are looking for specific species of native or near native plants. Click here to learn more about donation details and native plant list.
A full-time teaching position with the Bartlett Arboretum & Gardens is open immediately for our school, camp, outreach, after-school, and public programming. The Ideal candidate will be comfortable teaching a wide variety of ages from pre-school-aged children through adults. Botany and horticulture knowledge required. General knowledge pertaining to other environmental education topics, such as sustainability, environmentalism, STEM-based learning, is also necessary. For complete job description, click here.

Outreach to Pets in Need, OPIN is offering FREE dog training every Wednesday from 6:30 - 7:30. Rob Mullin, Trainer, K-9 Wizard & Co begins the hour class at 6:30. Please bring proof of rabies vaccination and your dog's license as well as a six foot training leash!
