Farmers’ Market
Continues each Wednesday through October 1st

Come support Connecticut farmers at the Bartlett Arboretum & Gardens Farmers’ Market held on Wednesdays, beginning July 9th from 10 am – 2 pm.

Shop for fresh, seasonal vegetables and fruits, cheeses, pies, natural soaps and lotions, handcrafted three-grain Pain de Campagne breads and much more, all while enjoying the beautiful surroundings of the Arboretum. Ample and convenient parking, as well as free admission (on Wednesdays,) make this shopping experience a pleasure.

The Bartlett Arboretum & Gardens will host their 2nd annual fundraising event "arbor-eating at the Bartlett" on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at 5 PM. "arbor-eating at the Bartlett" gala is a luscious outdoor celebration of local restaurant fare on the great lawn at the Arboretum. Held each year in early fall, "arbor-eating" blends an elegant yet casual atmosphere in an exquisite setting, with the colorful and majestic Bartlett trees providing an enchanting backdrop to the evening gala. The finest area restaurants, wine merchants and markets are invited to participate in the event that attracts over 400 guests to the Arboretum.

"Arbor-eating" Co-chairs are Karen Wilder, Patricia Eggert and Robin Selden, and committee members are drawn from Stamford and the surrounding communities. The event committee is organizing a spectacular silent auction of over 70 items, and a raffle.

Proceeds from the event support the environmental programs and initiatives of the Bartlett Arboretum & Gardens. For tickets or more information please call 203-322-6971.

Join the Master Gardeners as they celebrate their herbal harvest. The Visitor Center living room will be adorned by fragrant baskets of herbal floral arrangements to further excite your senses.
