The Visitor Reception Desk and the Silver Education
Center will be open to the public Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
GROUNDS: The Bartlett Arboretum & Gardens grounds are open to the public from 9 a.m. until dusk every day of the year. Leashed dogs (please see below) are welcomed on the property.
Please be aware that bow hunters are on the property, dusk to dawn, late September through January.
The Silver Education Center houses a horticulture resource library, a small gallery that features a variety of art exhibits and a plant clinic open during the growing season.
Staff offices are located in the historic Bartlett Family Home.
Unfortunately, the Bartlett Arboretum & Gardens is not handicapped accessible.
Visitors to the Arboretum are allowed to walk their dog on the forest trails. Stamford charter and city code Section 111-1 through 111-12 requires that dogs be leashed at all times on the property and that visitors pick up after their dog. There is a $50 fine for any violation of these sections for the first offense and $100 fine for each subsequent offense. Thank you for your cooperation.
