Power Yoga and Planting Program
This one-of-a-kind event will combine a 60-minute Power Vinyasa Yoga journey followed by a grounding, meditative seed-planting activity, where you will be getting your hands dirty and planting a variety of culinary herbs from seed. The herbs you plant will be divided amongst Bartlett’s vegetable garden, various local community gardens, and the garden at Insprica’s Youth Center.

Animal Detective Series: Owl Pellet Dissection and Habitat Hike
Member discounted pricing. Participants will receive their own owl pellet and identification chart and learn how to dissect and examine clues in the classroom. Participants will hike the trails and search for evidence beneath some of our owls’ favorite roosting spots.

Notable Tree Walk with Lisa Beebe
What is a notable tree? What role can you play in preserving Stamford's natural heritage? Join Lisa Beebe, curator for the Greenwich Tree Conservatory, for a walk and discussion of Connecticut's Notable Tree Project. Open Reception for Public Art Installation
Join us for an unveiling and opening reception for a new semi-permanent art installation on the grounds of the Bartlett. Japanese artist Akiko Geirin-san and local artists, Laura R. Lavin (Westchester County), and Mark Andreas (Stamford) will be on hand to discuss their work and its journey from inception to the Bartlett.

Join Advanced Master Gardener, Dawn Fiss, for a walk to explore the Bartlett's collection of rare and Champion Trees as they begin their seasonal transition.
Critter Habitat Hike
Join Bartlett Youth Education Specialist, James Flynn for an hour-long hike exploring the Bartlett’s wetland, forest, and meadow habitats. sneakers or close-toed shoes are highly recommended! 90 minutes. All ages.
Members-only: Bonsai for Beginners
This hands-on workshop will introduce attendees to the principles and history of Bonsai. Participants will leave with the confidence and knowledge to begin a bonsai practice. Trees and wires will be provided and available for purchase. Limited capacity.
Honey Harvest Festival
Our 4th annual Honey Harvest Festival is dedicated to celebrating honey and learning about the important role bees play in our ecosystem. This festival includes family-friendly activities, live music, food trucks, a marketplace featuring local vendors & artisans, a honey harvest demo, and more!
