Tribute Benches, Trees, and Bricks

Tribute gifts are a notable way to honor or memorialize loved ones. Your personalized gift enhances the grounds at the Bartlett Arboretum & Gardens and creates a lasting tribute. Locations, species of plants, bench designs, and plaques must conform to Arboretum standards set by the Buildings and Grounds committee. Bricks are “planted” on the Silver Educational Center’s terrace. For additional details, including the “100 trees” list, please contact Wendy Bennett, director of development, at wbennett@bartlettarboretum.org or 203.487.5263.

Benches

Benches can take many forms depending on the location and purpose. Natural stone benches and teak benches are the preferred models for the Arboretum. Locations are determined by Arboretum staff. Plaques are made of non-tarnishing bronze with two lines of dedication.
