Members Only: Planting & Growing Roses

  • Bartlett Arboretum & Gardens 151 Brookdale Road Stamford, CT 06903 (map)

From Shakespeare to Emily Dickinson, Dorothy Parker to the Grateful Dead, is there a plant that has been assigned more symbolic meaning than the rose? Complex as the emotions tied to this beautiful flower may be, growing your own need not be.

This workshop will tackle all the basics and then some, preparing attendees to start their own rose gardens.  Topics will include site selection and preparation, planting, types (bare root, container, climbing...), and maintenance.

This is a members-only workshop. If you’d like to become a member, click here.

Update! We have opened this to non-members.
