Surviving the winter is no easy task for our feathered friends. This quiet winter hike explores birds' daily routines, diet, and migration habits. Participants will observe the foraging behaviors of the birds that occupy the Arboretum during the winter.

Tour guide: Environmental Education Specialist James Flynn earned his degree in Environmental Science at the State University of New York at Purchase. He previously worked with the National Audubon Society in Greenwich, SoundWaters in Stamford, the Los Angeles County Outdoor Science School, the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center, and the Ford EcoCenter for Alternative Fuel Technology in San Diego.
