April 24, 2022: Arbor Earth Day Festival. A great time was had by all!
Stamford Mayor Caroline Simmons invited children to help plant a Magnolia tree donated by High Ridge Nursery on the grounds of the Bartlett.

Bartlett Tree Experts offered bucket truck rides to kids all day!
A crowd gathers to watch a new Magnolia Tree get planted on the Great Lawn.
Bartlett has a rich history dating back to the mid-1800s making the days Tree Tours a popular event. Master Gardeners lead visitors to discover trees that hold historical or cultural significance like the Charter Oak Descendant, Bartlett Chestnut, and the 9/11 Survivor Tree Memorial.
UCONN Master Gardeners remain a big draw at Bartlett events. Master Gardener, Dana Weinberg led a lively group discussing Herbs of the Year and offered related activities, including make -your-own-bath-bomb!
The Bartlett booth offered many giveaways from event sponsors, including Webster Bank. The Bartlett offered free water bottles made from recycled plastic.
In addition to Bucket Truck rides, BTE offered a free tree sapling giveaway.

A booth hosted by UCONN Master Gardeners discussed invasive plants.
Live music by the award-winning band, Bash the Trash entertained guests in the afternoon. Bash the Trash fashions instruments out of used and recycled materials.
