Bartlett’s 60th Horticulture Club

Our next meeting is March 11th, from 6:00 - 7:00 pm, in the Silver Education Center.

Focus: Forcing flowers. This is a technique that causes plants to bloom before their natural cycle. Flower forcing is often used with spring bulbs, like tulips and hyacinths so that they bloom indoor during winter.

Participants will paint their own clay pot to take home and get a forsythia flower cuttings and learn the basics of forcing flowers
