This one-day, online workshop is designed for students with no drawing experience or for those who wish to refresh their skills. Draw for the fun of it or as a preliminary step to later work in color!
You’ll learn careful observational skills to translate what you see into simple lines and shapes, as well as basic botanical drawing techniques to make a realistic drawing of a simple fruit. See how to turn a cone and a sphere shape into a Bartlett pear.
Students will need a 9” x 12” pad of drawing paper (Strathmore 400 regular surface); an HB and 2B pencil (Faber-Castell 9000); a white plastic eraser (Staedtler Mars); and a fresh Bartlett pear.
A Zoom link will be provided one day prior to the class.
