Situated across from the pollarded tree collection and adjacent to the Sargent's Hemlock, the Bartlett Arboretum's Holly Collection offers a vibrant display of evergreen beauty and year-round interest. This diverse collection features a variety of Ilex species and cultivars, each chosen for its ornamental qualities, adaptability, and ecological value. Visitors can enjoy the collection year-round, with berries and foliage at their most vibrant during fall and winter. This collection not only serves as a tranquil and colorful garden feature, but also as an educational display of the diversity and adaptability within the holly genus.
