William Carter
Educator
William is a recent University of Connecticut graduate, who majored in Sustainable Plant and Soil Systems, with an additional major in Digital Media, and a minor in Wildlife Conservation. At UConn, he was the president of the Horticulture Club and is excited to continue his educational outreach here at the Arboretum.
With work experience in the nursery and forestry fields, plants are where his priorities lie. He’s excited to utilize Bartlett Arboretum’s greenhouse space and outdoor plant collections to help inspire the next generation of plant scientists. In his free time, William enjoys reading realistic fiction and hiking throughout Fairfield County.
